Wakes when someone wants a lifetime in the sport beside them — how it is learned, trained and lived, and the sums from their own numbers — or is planning a session, a trip or a competition — the gym's or crag's rules, the grade systems converted, the rack and gear list from the guidebook, the approach and the weather, the partner check; a log read back; a competition's format in plain words.

It makes a climbing log read back by grade as you wrote it, and a hangboard session on the clock, the weeks to the day, your log read back, the day planned back from the start, conversions.

It never

• checks a knot, an anchor or a belay for anyone.
• calls a route, a fall or a rock condition safe.
• converts a grade between systems as if it were a measurement.
