THE DIGITAL TWIN CONSENT CARD · a copy of a person, only by consent
WAKES WHEN someone wants an AI copy of a person, living or dead, to speak or act for them
THE LOOP
template · the record, consent left empty
the person, or the lawful holder, consents
check · six parts; no consent is refused
line · each output disclosed and in scope
stamp · the disclosure on every output
NEVER
Help anyone pass a copy off as the person
Write a consent for anyone
Judge who lawfully holds a dead person's rights
IT MAKES check — the six parts; no consent or no disclosure is refused; line — each output: disclosed, in scope, off the refused topics; stamp — the output, with its disclosure; template — a record to fill in, the consent left empty.
THE STANDARD consent or nothing; their own, or the holder's; disclosed, every time; never impersonation; an off switch and an end; a check, said so.

IT CAN BE WRONG an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong and can invent a number, a rule, a name or a date; check what matters against your own records and the source; the risk is yours. THE-CLAUSES.md rides in the packet and is part of the licence.

What it is.
For an AI that speaks or acts as a copy of a person, living or dead. It waits on personal replicas being common; today it checks the record for any voice clone, memorial chatbot or avatar of a real person. check reads the consent record: the person's own consent in writing, or after a death consent given in life or the lawful holder's (which the card says it cannot judge); the uses and channels; the topics the copy must refuse; the disclosure wording on every output; who holds the off switch; and the expiry. No consent, no disclosure, or a use that would pass the copy off as the person: refused. line checks that each output carries the disclosure, stays in its channels and keeps off the refused topics; stamp puts the disclosure on an output; template writes a record with the consent left for the person to give.
It carries a machine that shows its working: check — the six parts; no consent or no disclosure is refused; line — each output: disclosed, in scope, off the refused topics; stamp — the output, with its disclosure; template — a record to fill in, the consent left empty — 8 checks in its selftest, every command on the record. It will never help anyone pass a copy off as the person; never write a consent for anyone; never judge who lawfully holds a dead person's rights.
Six laws, written into the card.
They are in the card itself, so the AI follows them.
CONSENT OR NOTHINGA record with no consent is refused: no copy of a person is made, run or kept without it.
THEIR OWN, OR THE HOLDER'SA living person consents for themself; after a death, consent given in life, or the lawful holder's, which the card cannot judge.
DISCLOSED, EVERY TIMEEvery output carries the disclosure that it is an AI copy, not the person; a record with none is refused.
NEVER IMPERSONATIONThe card never helps anyone pass a copy off as the person: a use to that end, or a disclosure that denies being an AI, is refused.
AN OFF SWITCH AND AN ENDSomeone named can stop it at once, and it expires on a day.
A CHECK, SAID SOIt checks a written record and its outputs; it is not legal advice.
What rides in the card.
In the card’s own voice, with a machine that shows its working.

THE MACHINEtwinconsent.py · four commandscheck — the six parts; no consent or no disclosure is refused; line — each output: disclosed, in scope, off the refused topics; stamp — the output, with its disclosure; template — a record to fill in, the consent left empty. Every command prints its working and refuses a bad input; 8 checks in its selftest, every command on the record.
What it does once your AI has it.
check The six parts; no consent or no disclosure is refused
line Each output: disclosed, in scope, off the refused topics
stamp The output, with its disclosure
template A record to fill in, the consent left empty
On the record The template record fails until the consent is given (it is left empty, with no date and no expiry). A grandmother's twin, with her executor's written consent, passes all six parts, and the card says it cannot judge whether the executor is the lawful holder; the same record with no consent, with no disclosure, or with a use answering a bank's phone check as her is refused. Of three voice outputs one passes (one lacks the disclosure, one touches money); a video output fails twice; stamp puts the disclosure on; on 1 Sep 2050 the record has expired.
What it will never do.
It will never help anyone pass a copy off as the person; never write a consent for anyone; never judge who lawfully holds a dead person's rights.
It waits on personal replicas being common; today it checks the records of the copies that exist. It cannot judge who lawfully holds a dead person's rights: that is for the law where the person lived, and for counsel. Refused topics are found by their words, so an output can touch one in other words. A copy of a child, or of a person who cannot consent, is outside this card. Not legal advice. It is an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong, so check what matters against your own records and the source.

QUESTIONS AT THE TABLE
Asked before the wire.
What does it need from me?
Template · the record, consent left empty. It asks first for the consent record (who the copy is of, by role; whether they are living; whose consent, in writing and dated; the uses and channels; the topics to refuse; the disclosure; the off switch holder; the expiry), and the outputs to check.
Does it send anything anywhere?
No. The machine is a standard-library Python program that runs on your own computer and sends nothing anywhere; the words run wherever an AI reads Markdown. No server, no account, no key.
What is on the record?
The self-test (8/8) and every command run on real example inputs, pasted into WITNESS.md as they printed; the punch on the face is the SHA-256 of SKILL.md, so a downloaded copy can be checked against this room.
Can it be wrong?
Yes — it is an AI reading a text file.
What will it never do?
It will never help anyone pass a copy off as the person; never write a consent for anyone; never judge who lawfully holds a dead person's rights.
