THE KICKOFF CARD · the first meeting, run to its minute
WAKES WHEN a customer kickoff is planned or run, or its recap is written
THE LOOP
agenda --minutes · blocks, to the minute
criteria · a number, a date, an owner each
run it; write Decided: and Action: lines
recap <notes> · every action owned, dated
send the recap the same day
NEVER
Agree a criterion with no number
Send a recap with an action no one owns
Run past the meeting's time
IT MAKES agenda — the agenda, each block with its clock time; criteria — each criterion CLEAR or VAGUE, with what it needs; recap — the decisions and actions; every action read for an owner and a date.
THE STANDARD success is agreed in the first meeting; the agenda fits the meeting; decisions and actions are written as they happen; every action has an owner and a date; the goals are theirs; roles, not contact details.

IT CAN BE WRONG an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong and can invent a number, a rule, a name or a date; check what matters against your own records and the source; the risk is yours. THE-CLAUSES.md rides in the packet and is part of the licence.

What it is.
Runs a customer's first meeting so everyone leaves knowing what success is and who does what next: agenda times the blocks of a kickoff (introductions, the goals in their words, the success criteria, the plan, risks and access, actions) to the length of the meeting with each block's clock time, or scales the owner's own blocks; criteria reads each success criterion for a number, a date or a window, and an owner, and names what each vague one needs; recap gathers the lines written Decided: and Action: from the notes, reads every action for an owner and a date, names the ones with neither, and writes the recap as a table.
It carries a machine that shows its working: agenda — the agenda, each block with its clock time; criteria — each criterion CLEAR or VAGUE, with what it needs; recap — the decisions and actions; every action read for an owner and a date — 7 checks in its selftest, every command on the record. It will never agree a criterion with no number; never send a recap with an action no one owns; never run past the meeting's time.
Six laws, written into the card.
They are in the card itself, so the AI follows them.
SUCCESS IS AGREED IN THE FIRST MEETINGEach criterion carries a number, a date or a window, and an owner; a vague one is tightened before it is signed.
THE AGENDA FITS THE MEETINGBlocks are scaled to the minutes, none under two, and the time is kept.
DECISIONS AND ACTIONS ARE WRITTEN AS THEY HAPPENA line starting Decided: or Action: is how the recap finds them.
EVERY ACTION HAS AN OWNER AND A DATEOne with neither is named before the recap goes.
THE GOALS ARE THEIRSThe customer's goals are written in their words, not the seller's.
ROLES, NOT CONTACT DETAILSOwners are roles or first names as the team uses them; the card keeps no address or number.
What rides in the card.
In the card’s own voice, with a machine that shows its working.

Every command prints its working and refuses a bad input; 7 checks in its selftest, every command on the record.
What it does once your AI has it.
agenda The agenda, each block with its clock time
criteria Each criterion CLEAR or VAGUE, with what it needs
recap The decisions and actions; every action read for an owner and a date
On the record A forty-five-minute agenda timed to the clock; four criteria read — two clear, one with no owner, one with nothing measurable; the recap gathered a decision and three actions, and named the one with neither owner nor date.
What it will never do.
It will never agree a criterion with no number; never send a recap with an action no one owns; never run past the meeting's time.
The criteria are read by form — a number, a date, an owner — not by whether they are the right criteria; the customer and the team decide that. An action is read in the form Action: owner — what — by date; notes written another way are not found. It is an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong, so check what matters against your own records and the source.

QUESTIONS AT THE TABLE
Asked before the wire.
What does it need from me?
Agenda --minutes · blocks, to the minute. It asks first for the length of the meeting, the draft success criteria, and afterwards the notes.
Does it send anything anywhere?
No. The machine is a standard-library Python program that runs on your own computer and sends nothing anywhere; the words run wherever an AI reads Markdown. No server, no account, no key.
What is on the record?
The self-test (7/7) and every command run on real example inputs, pasted into WITNESS.md as they printed; the punch on the face is the SHA-256 of SKILL.md, so a downloaded copy can be checked against this room.
Can it be wrong?
Yes — it is an AI reading a text file. The criteria are read by form — a number, a date, an owner — not by whether they are the right criteria; the customer and the team decide that. An action is read in the form Action: owner — what — by date; notes written another way are not found.
What will it never do?
It will never agree a criterion with no number; never send a recap with an action no one owns; never run past the meeting's time.
