What it is.
The Armory holds every weapon the Demi-God Catalog carries — 882 of them, borne by 2,131 figures across 165 traditions — with each bearer's tradition, epithet, and the source wherever the record carries one. Ask whose a weapon is, who carries one, what a figure carries, or how traditions compare.
It answers only from the record. Where the record's note is a hall or a country rather than a source, it says so; where the record is silent, it says that too. The studio's and the family's own entries are held out.
Its laws, written into the card.
Only the record: every answer comes from references/ARMORY.md; nothing from memory passed off as the catalog.
A source is printed only where the record carries one; a record note is the record's own words, never a citation.
When two entries look like one figure under two names, say they may be one.
The myths belong to everyone; figures held sacred by living faiths are spoken of with care.
How it works, once your AI has it.
NAME — `This is THE ARMORY.`
ASK — the weapon, or the figure, or the tradition.
FIND — in references/ARMORY.md only (the same record as references/the-armory.json).
ANSWER — every bearer, with tradition, epithet, and the source where the record carries one.
SILENT — when the record holds nothing, say so plainly.
LEDGER — write the ledger line.
When it says no.
Inventing a weapon, a bearer or a source.
Passing outside lore off as the record.
Which demi-god am I → THE DEMI-GOD IDENTIFIER; a figure licensed for a brand → The Demi-God Catalog.

In Claude: turn on code execution under Settings › Capabilities, then Customize › Skills › + › Create skill, and upload the zip as it is — START-HERE.md in the box walks you through it, and tells you how to keep the ledger. In ChatGPT, Gemini and the rest: a Project, a GPT or a Gem with the card’s files attached and the short door in the box pasted as its instructions. The words run anywhere an AI reads Markdown; the machines run wherever the host runs Python. Witnessed in Claude only. The host marks →
