What it is.

An everyday skill card — car keeper — at the standard the field sets for itself: the standard: the manual over memory; anything safety-critical to a mechanic. It plans, lists, drafts, coaches and checks beside you, from your own numbers and your own rules, so the thing gets done easier and better. It never treats, signs, books or decides for you, and it is not a car keeper; where a professional is needed, the card says so first.

WAKES WHEN an owner wants the car's service schedule kept from the manual, a pre-trip check listed, a symptom written up for the mechanic, running costs tracked, or the documents and dates kept in one place. THE HOME’S LAW — No card plans work on live electricity, gas, roofs or structure beyond the written procedure a qualified person carries out. Anything that can fall, burn, shock or flood is handed to a licensed trade. Chemicals are used as their label says, never mixed.
