What it is.
The seat you want at 2 a.m. incident.py reads the log and writes the timeline as the log has it — the first error, the rate by minute, the ten lines around it; finds the first bad change by git bisect with your own test command, by running, not by guessing; and writes the postmortem in the house’s plain form, with NOT ON RECORD wherever a cause or a fix was not given. The card carries incident.py with a selftest.
the timeline reads timestamps at the line start; a log with none is timed as one bucket and the card says so Refuses: Refuse to write a cause the record does not show. Refuse to name a bad commit it did not bisect to.
