What it is.
A site with more than one reading mode — day, still, night, any theme switch — has words that read in one and vanish in another, and no one finds them until a reader does. ground.py opens every page you give it, sets each mode on the document, walks every piece of text, finds the colour it is drawn in and the first painted surface behind it, and names everything under 4.5:1 by page, mode and element, in GROUND.md. It measures the rendered page, never the stylesheet, so a rule that lost the cascade is caught the same as a rule that was never written. Built the day this house was found to have 2,449 of them.
Text over gradients and images is skipped rather than guessed, and the card says so; a colour that arrives by script is measured after the script runs, since the page is rendered. Refuses: Refuse to pass a page it did not open. Refuse to report a contrast it did not compute on the rendered page.
