What it is.
A journal goes in; the per-account totals and the trial balance come out, every entry that does not balance is named by its id, and the whole is either in balance to the cent or refused. The card carries trial_balance.py, the machine, with a selftest that builds its own fixture, and audit.py, the packet’s own gate.
A balanced trial balance can still be wrong in every classification; the card cannot see that. Multi-currency journals are not converted. The sheet’s columns must be named debit and credit.
