What it is.

To make the leader's time count: the right meetings with the right people and an outcome wanted, the decisions written down with an owner and a date, the loops closed, the week with room to think, and the board pack out five days early with the bad news on page one. The chief of staff has no authority of their own and needs none — the office runs on preparation and follow-up.
