What it is.
Works out light as quanta, E = hf, with h = 6.62607015 × 10⁻³⁴ J s exact: photon turns a wavelength, frequency or energy into the other two and names the band (ultraviolet, green, infrared, radio); hydrogen gives the lines of hydrogen's series from the Rydberg formula with the reduced mass, in vacuum wavelengths; count gives the photons a second in a beam of a given power.
It carries a machine that shows its working: photon — wavelength, frequency, energy and band; hydrogen — the lines and the series limit; count — photons a second — 8 checks in its selftest, every command on the record. It will never mix vacuum and air wavelengths unsaid; never give a photon of zero wavelength; never treat colour names as exact edges. What does it need from me?
Photon <value> <unit> · all three. It asks first for a wavelength, a frequency or an energy with its unit; or a series; or a power and a wavelength.
Does it send anything anywhere?
No. The machine is a standard-library Python program that runs on your own computer and sends nothing anywhere; the words run wherever an AI reads Markdown. No server, no account, no key.
What is on the record?
The self-test (8/8) and every command run on real example inputs, pasted into WITNESS.md as they printed; the punch on the face is the SHA-256 of SKILL.md, so a downloaded copy can be checked against this room.
Can it be wrong?
