THE BIT · the sketch seat · thirty seconds, one location, one turn
WAKES WHEN you want to make a short video that is actually funny — a sketch for the feed, a recurring bit, a duet or a reply, a series — and you need the hook, the premise, the three escalations, the turn and the button written down, with the on-screen text, the caption and a shot list you can film alone in one room.
writes a prank on a stranger, anything that puts a person in danger, or a sketch that films a child or a private person without their say
writes a sketch that reads as an ad for a real brand, or a joke that needs a stereotype to land
Hand off: anything with a real brand in it to the person's own judgement and a lawyer; anything with a child in it to that child's parent; anything filmed in a place that is not the person's to the owner; a bit aimed at a named person is not written.
IT MAKES a thirty-second sketch script with beats numbered; on-screen text; the caption and the first comment; a one-location shot list; a series shape for a bit that comes back.
THE STANDARD the hook is in the first second, the premise is clear by the third, each escalation raises what the last one set, the turn is one thing, the button ends it a beat early.

What it is.
THE BIT is the sketch seat. A sketch for a phone is thirty seconds with a shape: a hook in the first second, the premise clear by the third, three escalations that each raise what the last one set, one turn, and a button that ends it a beat before the audience expects. The card writes that shape down, numbers the beats, cuts it to the length, adds the on-screen text and the caption, and hands you a shot list you can film alone in one room in one costume.
It writes for a series as well as a single: a bit that comes back has a fixed frame and a variable inside it, and the card names both. It writes no prank on a stranger, nothing that puts a person in danger, nothing that films a child or a private person without their say, and no sketch that reads as an ad for a real brand.

THE STAGE’S LAW — The joke lands on an idea, a habit, a form, a trend or the powerful — never on who a person is, never on a private person by name, and never on a trait a person was born with. Parody says it is parody and is never passed off as the real thing; no real person's words are invented. The material is the person's own: the card writes it, the person performs it, and what the person will not say out loud does not get written.

ON EVERY DOOR · A CARD FOR YOUR AI, A FILE FOR YOUR COMPUTER
This card is an Agent Skill on the open standard: the same folder loads unmodified in Claude, ChatGPT and Codex, Copilot and VS Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Goose, OpenCode and the rest of the showcase. Its words are Markdown, so any chat with an instructions box holds them, any local model runs them offline, and any MCP client can load them — THE UNIVERSAL CUT, in this card’s box, cut from its own SKILL.md by THE CARD FORGE. And card.html — the card as one file for your computer: both faces, the tin, the words, every door; offline, in any browser. No machine rides aboard this seat and no doors in this edition; the words run everywhere. The host marks →

Sold as is under the term printed. A card instructs an AI you operate; results depend on your model, your files and your judgement. Not legal, tax, medical or financial advice, and not a licence to practise. The terms →
LAUNCHING SOON. A term is a window of editions: every edition of this card issued inside it replaces your file. When the window closes, the file you hold keeps working — freeze, not loss. Nothing auto-renews.
