THE SESSION EXTENSION CARD · a full session, carried into the next one
WAKES WHEN a session is running out of room, or someone asks for every file to carry into a new one
THE LOOP
scan the folders · the newest of each
pack · numbered parts and an index
resume · the note the next one reads
check · nothing leaves that should not
verify on the far side · every file
NEVER
Drop a file on a guess that it is old
Print an email, a key or a number it found
Delete or send anything
IT MAKES scan — the files, the newest of each, what was left out; pack — numbered parts under the line, the index, the oversize aside; resume — RESUME.md, the note a new session starts from; check — CLEAN or FOUND, where and what kind; verify — COMPLETE or what is missing.
THE STANDARD newest, not everything; never a guess; parts that fit; the index is the proof; the owner's words carry over; nothing leaves unread.

IT CAN BE WRONG an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong and can invent a number, a rule, a name or a date; check what matters against your own records and the source; the risk is yours. THE-CLAUSES.md rides in the packet and is part of the licence.

What it is.
Carries a working session into the next one when it runs out of room: scan takes stock of the folders the session worked in, keeping the newest edition of each file and naming what it left out; pack puts the files into numbered zip parts under a size line, with an index of every file, its part and its fingerprint, and copies aside whole any file too big for a part; resume writes the note a new session starts from — what was asked in the owner's words, where it stands, what is next, the numbers and rules to keep, and the file map; check reads everything that will leave for emails, phone numbers, home paths, key-like strings and the owner's banned words without printing them; verify proves on the far side that every file arrived byte for byte.
It carries a machine that shows its working: scan — the files, the newest of each, what was left out; pack — numbered parts under the line, the index, the oversize aside; resume — RESUME.md, the note a new session starts from; check — CLEAN or FOUND, where and what kind; verify — COMPLETE or what is missing — 12 checks in its selftest, every command on the record. It will never drop a file on a guess that it is old; never print an email, a key or a number it found; never delete or send anything.
Six laws, written into the card.
They are in the card itself, so the AI follows them.
NEWEST, NOT EVERYTHINGA later version and the newer of two same-named files are kept; earlier editions are listed as left out, never silently lost.
NEVER A GUESSNames that differ only by a number are kept and pointed out; only a family the owner names keeps just its newest.
PARTS THAT FITEvery part is under the size line; a file too big for any part is carried aside whole and named in the index.
THE INDEX IS THE PROOFEvery file is listed with its part and its fingerprint; verify reads the parts back against it on the far side.
THE OWNER'S WORDS CARRY OVERThe resume note keeps what was asked as it was said, what is next in order, and the standing rules.
NOTHING LEAVES UNREADcheck reads every text file, inside zips too, and says where and what kind; it never repeats what it found.
What rides in the card.
In the card’s own voice, with a machine that shows its working.

THE MACHINEextend.py · five commandsscan — the files, the newest of each, what was left out; pack — numbered parts under the line, the index, the oversize aside; resume — RESUME.md, the note a new session starts from; check — CLEAN or FOUND, where and what kind; verify — COMPLETE or what is missing. Every command prints its working and refuses a bad input; 12 checks in its selftest, every command on the record.
What it does once your AI has it.
scan The files, the newest of each, what was left out
pack Numbered parts under the line, the index, the oversize aside
resume RESUME.md, the note a new session starts from
check CLEAN or FOUND, where and what kind
verify COMPLETE or what is missing
On the record A session folder scanned: v6.3 kept over v6.2, the cache left behind, the two media sets kept and pointed out (and, named as a family, only the newer kept); packed with an index and a resume note in the owner's words; the check found the owner's banned phrase without repeating it; verify found every file, byte for byte.
What it will never do.
It will never drop a file on a guess that it is old; never print an email, a key or a number it found; never delete or send anything.
It carries files, not the conversation: the reasons have to be written into the notes the resume reads. A part over an upload limit is the host's rule, not the card's; set --cap under it. It cannot read a file it was not pointed at, and it does not know which of two files with different names the owner meant to keep. It is an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong, so check what matters against your own records and the source.

ON EVERY DOOR · A CARD FOR YOUR AI, A FILE FOR YOUR COMPUTER
In Claude: turn on code execution under Settings › Capabilities, then Customize › Skills › + › Create skill, and upload the zip as it is — START-HERE.md in the box walks you through it, and tells you how to keep the ledger. In ChatGPT, Gemini and the rest: a Project, a GPT or a Gem with the card’s files attached and the short door in the box pasted as its instructions. The words run anywhere an AI reads Markdown; the machines run wherever the host runs Python. Witnessed in Claude only. The host marks →
Take it.
Nº 1119 PROPOSED — LAUNCHING SOON
Sold as is under the term printed. A card instructs an AI you operate; results depend on your model, your files and your judgement. Not medical, legal, tax or financial advice, never the person’s boss, and not a licence to practise. The terms →
One payment. The file is yours to keep and keeps working at its edition; new editions issued in the year after you buy reach you by email as replacement files. Tax is added at checkout where it applies. Nothing auto-renews.
A TERM, NOT A SUBSCRIPTION: NOTHING RENEWS ITSELF AND NOBODY IS CHARGED AGAIN. WHEN A TERM ENDS THE FILES STAY ON YOUR COMPUTER AND STAY READABLE — FREEZE, NOT LOSS.

QUESTIONS AT THE TABLE
Asked before the wire.
What does it need from me?
Scan the folders · the newest of each. It asks first for the folders the session worked in, the name for the pass, and the owner's notes: what was asked, what is next, the rules.
Does it send anything anywhere?
No. The machine is a standard-library Python program that runs on your own computer and sends nothing anywhere; the words run wherever an AI reads Markdown. No server, no account, no key.
What is on the record?
The self-test (12/12) and every command run on real example inputs, pasted into WITNESS.md as they printed; the punch on the face is the SHA-256 of SKILL.md, so a downloaded copy can be checked against this room.
Can it be wrong?
Yes — it is an AI reading a text file. It carries files, not the conversation: the reasons have to be written into the notes the resume reads. A part over an upload limit is the host's rule, not the card's; set --cap under it. It cannot read a file it was not pointed at, and it does not know which of two files with different names the owner meant to keep.
What will it never do?
It will never drop a file on a guess that it is old; never print an email, a key or a number it found; never delete or send anything.
