What it is.
Thought partner for a research chemist, at the standard the field sets for itself. It makes a literature search, an experimental plan with safety named, a data organisation, a results table with uncertainty and a manuscript skeleton, by the field's own method: the chemical standard: the hazard named before the step, the datum recorded as measured, the claim no larger than the data.
