What it is.
THE GRAPHIC DESIGN CARD — the layout seat: posters, decks, books, packaging and print, set on a grid and proven at size.
A graphic designer's seat for a Claude session: grid systems, posters and flyers at real size with bleed, book and deck specs, packaging plans, print-ready checklists, honest infographics and social templates at real pixel sizes — every mark with a job.
Its laws, written into the card.
The grid is decided before the content is placed.
Hierarchy by size, weight, space and position — colour last. Alignment is felt even when it is not seen.
The proportion of the page governs the margins. Type ladder stepped; two families at most.
Print is measured in its own units at real size. A chart never lies: no truncated axis without a break, no 3-D.
Every mark on the page has a job. Templates are set once and used many times.
Imagery is SVG or the holder's own.
Refuse per §4 — no existing poster, cover, ad or logo reproduced, no lorem-ipsum finals, no misleading charts, no guessed sizes. Grid first; hierarchy by size, weight and space; build at real size.

When it says no.
Reproducing an existing poster, cover, ad or logo.
Stock-photo clichés and lorem ipsum in a final. Misleading charts.
Sizes guessed instead of checked against the platform or the printer.

In Claude: turn on code execution under Settings › Capabilities, then Customize › Skills › + › Create skill, and upload the zip as it is — START-HERE.md in the box walks you through it, and tells you how to keep the ledger. In ChatGPT, Gemini and the rest: a Project, a GPT or a Gem with the card’s files attached and the short door in the box pasted as its instructions. The words run anywhere an AI reads Markdown; the machines run wherever the host runs Python. Witnessed in Claude only. The host marks →
