IT CAN BE WRONG an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong and can invent a number, a rule, a name or a date; check what matters against your own records and the source; the risk is yours. THE-CLAUSES.md rides in the packet and is part of the licence.

What it is.
The door to ANSUZ, the studio's humanoid-robot software, which runs only in simulation and is offered only by a signed written agreement drafted by the studio's counsel. The card never contains ANSUZ's code. check tests a planned task (the robot's timed path, the people in the room, children among them, and what the robot carries) against ANSUZ's safety envelope: nobody nearer than 0.35 m, 1.0 m/s anywhere and 0.3 m/s near a person, no knife or hot drink within 1.0 m of a child, checked between the waypoints too; stop gives the distance and time to stop from a speed; terms gives the offer as recorded.
It carries a machine that shows its working: check — every breach of the envelope, with its time; stop — the distance and time to stop; terms — what the offer covers, as recorded — 8 checks in its selftest, every command on the record. It will never drive or claim to drive a real robot; never lower the clearance kept from people; never call a simulated check a safety approval.
Six laws, written into the card.
They are in the card itself, so the AI follows them.
SIMULATION ONLYANSUZ runs in simulation; no body has been built, and this card never drives a robot.
THE CLEARANCE HOLDSNobody nearer than 0.35 m; a plan may raise it and never lower it.
SLOW NEAR PEOPLE0.3 m/s within 1.0 m of a person, 1.0 m/s anywhere else.
CHILDREN FIRSTNo knife, blade, scissors or hot drink within 1.0 m of a child.
NOT A CERTIFICATIONA check in simulation, not a safety approval; a real robot needs its own.
BY AGREEMENT ONLYANSUZ changes hands by a signed written agreement; the figure is never typed in this card.
What rides in the card.
In the card’s own voice, with a machine that shows its working.

THE MACHINEansuz.py · three commandscheck — every breach of the envelope, with its time; stop — the distance and time to stop; terms — what the offer covers, as recorded. Every command prints its working and refuses a bad input; 8 checks in its selftest, every command on the record.
What it does once your AI has it.
check Every breach of the envelope, with its time
stop The distance and time to stop
terms What the offer covers, as recorded
On the record The offer as recorded, with no figure or version; a kitchen task breaks the envelope three times (a cook passed at 0.30 m, too fast near a child, a hot drink near a child); a hall walk is clean; a plan lowering the 0.35 m clearance is refused; from 1.0 m/s it stops in 0.35 m.
What it will never do.
It will never drive or claim to drive a real robot; never lower the clearance kept from people; never call a simulated check a safety approval.
The robot and each person are points at the positions given; bodies, sensors and real dynamics are not modelled. It checks plans in simulation and says so on every run. It is an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong, so check what matters against your own records and the source.

ON EVERY DOOR · A CARD FOR YOUR AI, A FILE FOR YOUR COMPUTER
In Claude: turn on code execution under Settings › Capabilities, then Customize › Skills › + › Create skill, and upload the zip as it is — START-HERE.md in the box walks you through it, and tells you how to keep the ledger. In ChatGPT, Gemini and the rest: a Project, a GPT or a Gem with the card’s files attached and the short door in the box pasted as its instructions. The words run anywhere an AI reads Markdown; the machines run wherever the host runs Python. Witnessed in Claude only. The host marks →

Nº 1162 PROPOSED — LAUNCHING SOON
Sold as is under the term printed. A card instructs an AI you operate; results depend on your model, your files and your judgement. Not medical, legal, tax or financial advice, never the person’s boss, and not a licence to practise. The terms →
One payment. The file is yours to keep and keeps working at its edition; new editions issued in the year after you buy reach you by email as replacement files. Tax is added at checkout where it applies. Nothing auto-renews.
A TERM, NOT A SUBSCRIPTION: NOTHING RENEWS ITSELF AND NOBODY IS CHARGED AGAIN. WHEN A TERM ENDS THE FILES STAY ON YOUR COMPUTER AND STAY READABLE — FREEZE, NOT LOSS.

THE ANSUZ CARD · what the offer covers, as recorded
ANSUZ is the studio's humanoid-robot software. It runs in simulation only: no physical body has been built,
and it never drives a real robot.
how it is offered: by a signed written agreement, drafted by the studio's counsel. No cart and no checkout.
the buyer receives:
· the design
· the code
· the physics kit for its next stage: a humanoid in a physics engine
· every test and every record
not included:
· LUNDR'S MIND, which is offered on its own
· the skill cards, which are sold as cards
the figure and the royalty's terms are set in the agreement and are never typed in this card.
this card is the door to that agreement; its machine checks plans against the safety envelope, in simulation.
check · EVERY BREACH OF THE ENVELOPE, WITH ITS TIME
$ python3 scripts/ansuz.py check kitchen.json
kitchen.json · 4 waypoints over 16.0 s · 2 people (1 child) · carries hot drink, knife
limits: 1.0 m/s anywhere · 0.3 m/s within 1.0 m of a person · nobody nearer than 0.35 m · no knife or hot drink within 1.0 m of a child
checked at 1,601 moments, at the waypoints and between them, at most 0.01 s and 1 cm apart
BREACH · 3.28–4.72 s · too close: cook came within 0.30 m at 4.00 s (nobody nearer than 0.35 m)
BREACH · 12.92–15.63 s · too fast near small child: 0.50 m/s within 1.0 m, nearest 0.64 m at 14.27 s (the limit there is 0.3 m/s)
BREACH · 12.92–15.63 s · hot drink within 0.64 m of small child at 14.27 s (nothing sharp or hot within 1.0 m of a child)
FAIL · 3 breaches
a check in simulation, not a safety certification
check · EVERY BREACH OF THE ENVELOPE, WITH ITS TIME
$ python3 scripts/ansuz.py check hall.json
hall.json · 2 waypoints over 20.0 s · 2 people (1 child) · carries cup
limits: 1.0 m/s anywhere · 0.3 m/s within 1.0 m of a person · nobody nearer than 0.35 m · no knife or hot drink within 1.0 m of a child
checked at 2,001 moments, at the waypoints and between them, at most 0.01 s and 1 cm apart
PASS · no breach found
a check in simulation, not a safety certification
check · EVERY BREACH OF THE ENVELOPE, WITH ITS TIME
$ python3 scripts/ansuz.py check lowered.json
lowered.json · refused: the 0.35 m clearance from every person can be raised, never lowered; this plan asks for 0.25 m
stop · THE DISTANCE AND TIME TO STOP
$ python3 scripts/ansuz.py stop 1.0
from 1.00 m/s, braking at 2.0 m/s² after 0.1 s to react:
while reacting: 0.10 m in 0.10 s
while braking: 0.25 m in 0.50 s
to stop: 0.35 m in 0.60 s
it stops within the 0.35 m kept from every person
the fastest speed that stops within 0.35 m at these settings: 1.00 m/s
arithmetic in simulation, not a safety certification
stop · THE DISTANCE AND TIME TO STOP
$ python3 scripts/ansuz.py stop 1.5
from 1.50 m/s, braking at 2.0 m/s² after 0.1 s to react:
while reacting: 0.15 m in 0.10 s
while braking: 0.56 m in 0.75 s
to stop: 0.71 m in 0.85 s
it needs MORE THAN the 0.35 m kept from every person
the fastest speed that stops within 0.35 m at these settings: 1.00 m/s
arithmetic in simulation, not a safety certification
THE NUMBERS, NAMES AND DATES IN THESE RUNS ARE THE STUDIO’S OWN EXAMPLES, INVENTED FOR THE RECORD; NO REAL COMPANY, PERSON OR PROPERTY IS NAMED.
QUESTIONS AT THE TABLE
Asked before the wire.
What does it need from me?
Terms · what the offer covers. It asks first for a planned task: the robot's path as timed waypoints, the people in the room and which are children, and what the robot carries.
Does it send anything anywhere?
No. The machine is a standard-library Python program that runs on your own computer and sends nothing anywhere; the words run wherever an AI reads Markdown. No server, no account, no key.
What is on the record?
The self-test (8/8) and every command run on real example inputs, pasted into WITNESS.md as they printed; the punch on the face is the SHA-256 of SKILL.md, so a downloaded copy can be checked against this room.
Can it be wrong?
Yes — it is an AI reading a text file. The robot and each person are points at the positions given; bodies, sensors and real dynamics are not modelled. It checks plans in simulation and says so on every run.
What will it never do?
It will never drive or claim to drive a real robot; never lower the clearance kept from people; never call a simulated check a safety approval.
