THE MAP CARD · where everything is, from its own records
WAKES WHEN someone asks where something lives, or work starts in a folder grown past memory
THE LOOP
draw <folder> · the atlas
where "<words>" · the place and the file
region "<house>" · close up
work there; draw again after
keep ATLAS.md beside the work
NEVER
Guess where a thing is
Open what it does not need to
Move or change anything it maps
IT MAKES draw — the atlas: regions, records, the newest changes; where — every place that carries the words, with its file; region — one house or one folder, close up.
THE STANDARD from the folder's own records; every answer carries its file; cards first; every word must match; the newest changes are on the map,; it reads; it moves nothing.

IT CAN BE WRONG an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong and can invent a number, a rule, a name or a date; check what matters against your own records and the source; the risk is yours. THE-CLAUSES.md rides in the packet and is part of the licence.

What it is.
Maps a whole body of work from its own records so anyone can say where anything is: draw reads a folder and draws its atlas — the regions with their files, kinds and sizes, a Shopify theme's views and pages, a shelf's floor index as houses and wings with their cards, and the newest changes; where answers "where is …?" with every place whose name or title carries the words — a card first, with its number, house, wing and file; region zooms into one house, card by card, or one folder.
It carries a machine that shows its working: draw — the atlas: regions, records, the newest changes; where — every place that carries the words, with its file; region — one house or one folder, close up — 8 checks in its selftest, every command on the record. It will never guess where a thing is; never open what it does not need to; never move or change anything it maps.
Six laws, written into the card.
They are in the card itself, so the AI follows them.
FROM THE FOLDER'S OWN RECORDSNames, titles, a theme's templates and a shelf's floor index; nothing is guessed.
EVERY ANSWER CARRIES ITS FILEA place on the map is said with the file it lives in.
CARDS FIRSTWhere a shelf's index names a card, it is answered before the files that mention it, with its number, house and wing.
EVERY WORD MUST MATCH"where plan spring" finds what carries both, not either.
THE NEWEST CHANGES ARE ON THE MAP,so the atlas shows where the work last moved.
IT READS; IT MOVES NOTHINGThe map changes no file it draws.
What rides in the card.
In the card’s own voice, with a machine that shows its working.

draw The atlas: regions, records, the newest changes
where Every place that carries the words, with its file
region One house or one folder, close up
On the record The shop folder drawn as an atlas — regions, the theme's views and pages, the shelf's house and wing; "rye" answered with the card first, its number, house, wing and file; "plan spring" found in a note's title; THE KITCHEN zoomed card by card.
What it will never do.
It will never guess where a thing is; never open what it does not need to; never move or change anything it maps.
The map knows what the folder names: a thing called one word in a file and another in conversation is found only by the words written. It reads titles from the first heading or the page title of text files, not the full text of every file. A shelf is read from its floor-index.json; a shelf kept another way is mapped as files. It is an AI reading a text file: it can be wrong, so check what matters against your own records and the source.

One payment. The file is yours to keep and keeps working at its edition; new editions issued in the year after you buy reach you by email as replacement files. Tax is added at checkout where it applies. Nothing auto-renews.

QUESTIONS AT THE TABLE
Asked before the wire.
What does it need from me?
Draw <folder> · the atlas. It asks first for the folder, and the words for what is being looked for.
Does it send anything anywhere?
No. The machine is a standard-library Python program that runs on your own computer and sends nothing anywhere; the words run wherever an AI reads Markdown. No server, no account, no key.
What is on the record?
The self-test (8/8) and every command run on real example inputs, pasted into WITNESS.md as they printed; the punch on the face is the SHA-256 of SKILL.md, so a downloaded copy can be checked against this room.
Can it be wrong?
Yes — it is an AI reading a text file. The map knows what the folder names: a thing called one word in a file and another in conversation is found only by the words written. It reads titles from the first heading or the page title of text files, not the full text of every file. A shelf is read from its floor-index.json; a shelf kept another way is mapped as files.
What will it never do?
It will never guess where a thing is; never open what it does not need to; never move or change anything it maps.
